For each episode of the Singing Mountain podcast, Drew Mackie assembles a playlist of tracks from various retro video games around a theme and shares interesting facts about the music, its composers, and the games they were scored for.
When Drew approached me about doing modifiable cover art for a new series looking at the interactions between mainstream pop music and video game music, I couldn’t have been more excited!
The solution we came up with was to combine an old school Nintendo controller with a boombox and allow for almost unlimited color combinations to distinguish each episode.
