Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Animated Pixel Art Stickers

A series of animated pixel art stickers made to promote Skeleton Crew, the Star Wars TV series with a kids-on-bikes energy closer to Stranger Things than a typical galaxy far, far away.
Disney wanted the promo built for social, not print: a set of animated stickers for their official Star Wars Instagram account, in an 8-bit style that leaned into both nostalgia and momentum.
The animations went live as searchable GIPHY stickers through the official Star Wars IG account, letting fans drop the pixel art characters straight into their own Stories.
Given the show's tight secrecy and release schedule, Jude worked in small batches, animating each character only as it was revealed. Ten GIFs in total, released weekly across the first season.
