PB Rush: A Branded Arcade Racing Game for Psycho Bunny
Client: Psycho Bunny
Music: Doctor Octoroc
Game Design & Art: The Pixel Artist
An 8-bit racing game built for Psycho Bunny's brand activation at the 2026 F1 Miami Grand Prix, running across four networked arcade cabinets tied to a shared leaderboard.
Psycho Bunny needed an experience with the same energy as the brand itself for its 20x20 space at the Grand Prix. Their agency, New Monster, pitched an arcade racer and brought in The Pixel Artist to build it.
PB Rush: Racing Challenge tracked the top 8 race times live throughout the weekend, with a cash prize for the best time at the end. Four machines, one leaderboard, real stakes. It anchored a bigger activation (DJ, apparel shop, photo ops) and kept people looping back for one more run.
Every sprite, animation, and environment was hand pixeled, built around Psycho Bunny's magenta palette and the fast 8-bit racers that shaped Jude's own arcade years. The track mirrors the real Miami Grand Prix circuit, with live position tracking for every racer. Built in Phaser, scored with original chiptune from Doctor Octoroc, and later adapted into a standalone iPad version.
