Generation Text

Client: Family Circle
Art Direction: Lisa Kelsey
Opener, and some spots, for an article about teens and texting.
I really wanted to make her a zombie, but I didn't think that would fly with Family Circle's demographic.
They asked for two additional spots to convey other ideas discussed in the article. This one was about the difference between how teen boys and teen girls text. Boys tend to be very concise in their texts. Girls are a bit more wordy, that is if you consider "OMG" and "L8R" to be actual words.
They also wanted a spot that dealt with how texting has changed how parents interact with their kids.
