Illustration to accompany a review of the self-titled first album of 8-bit influenced band Crystal Castles. The band swears they are named after the Crystal Castle in the 80s cartoon "She-Ra" and not the classic arcade game "Crystal Castles", but I was skeptical of this origin so I included references to both.
